Feb. 9, 2011

Let me begin this by saying: I love my husband. We started dating 14 years ago (almost to the day). I'm now 41, he's 43. He is sexy, smart, funny, charming and witty. He is a great father to my beautiful son and will be a great father to the baby I'm carrying. And because he does have such a great sense of humor, I can write about his uh... eccentricities.
Here's the deal....
Almost every morning, when he wakes, he complains about something.
It's just how he starts his day. HE KNOWS he's not a morning person. And I KNOW he's not a morning person. At this point, there's no changing it. It's part of who he is.
And along with all those wonderful traits comes the morning complaints...
Today 8:15am:
Me: Good Morning
Him: I have a brutal sinus thing going on. Do you hear it in my voice? I'm so congested.
Me: Yep, sounds like it.
And I move on. As the day progresses, it will either get better or get worse. Normally he forgets about it and all is well.
And please...please...please... don't think I don't care about his health. I DO! He is my heart. He is awesome. But usually every morning, he has an ailment and after 14 years, it's now just silly.
